HOW CAN I VIEW AN AVAILABLE RENTAL UNIT?

One of our Lease Agents would be happy to schedule a viewing appointment. Units are shown Monday through Friday between 9 am to 5 pm and on other instances based on the availability of the Agent. When requesting an appointment, please provide a working number where you can be reached. If interested in applying for a unit, the Lease Agent can guide you through the application process and requirements.

DO YOU ALLOW PETS?

In general, all properties have a No Pet policy.

WHAT IS THE TERM OF THE LEASE?

Leases are usually for a minimum one-year term.

WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO PRIOR TO MOVING IN?

Prior to moving into the unit, you should contact Washington Gas and Pepco to place the respective utilities in your name starting on the date your lease will begin.

You are responsible for payment of the security deposit for the unit which is typically equal to one month’s rent.

WHEN IS RENT DUE?

Your lease will outline the rental payment due dates and acceptable forms of payment. Generally, rent is due on the 1st day of the month and late after the 5th day of the month. Accounts with delinquent rental payments are subject to a complaint filing in Landlord/Tenant Court. This process can be initiated without a warning notice from the landlord.

HOW DO I SUBMIT A MAINTENANCE REQUEST?

There are several options for submitting routine maintenance requests. We strive to respond to all requests as quickly and reasonably possible.

  • Contact the rental office during normal business hours via phone
  • Submit a request through the Tenant Web Access Portal via our website

CAN I MAKE ALTERATIONS TO MY RENTAL UNIT?

No alterations can be made to the rental unit including re-painting. Any unauthorized alterations can result in an assessment of charges to the tenant account.

WHAT ARE THE STEPS TO VACATE MY UNIT?

A 30-day written Notice to Vacate should be submitted to the rental office. At the time of move-out, the unit should be cleared of all belongings and occupants, clean, and free from damage other than normal wear and tear. The security deposit will be refunded to the applicable parties less any rent or damages that may be owed on the tenant account.
